Yin is a deeply meditative style of yoga consisting of floor postures held for longer periods of time, which increases the flexibility of connective tissue, fascia, and joints. Adding yin yoga into your practice will help to cultivate a deeper sense of connection and awareness while balancing the energetic meridians of the body. Yin yoga is truly the best compliment to "yang" practices such as Bikram, Ashtanga, and power yoga classes. Relax, release, let go, and enjoy.
