Beginners' Introduction

Bikram yoga is for all levels of fitness, age and experience. In our hot yoga class you are instructed to "try the right way" to practice each yoga posture correctly and safely, rather than being shown the postures then hoping that you have got it right. Everyone's body is different and there are some things that are just not possible at that time, and so adjustments are made to take into account an injury or condition allowing the benefits of the yoga to continue and progress. Initially the hot yoga class will be very challenging due to the heat. However, soon you will see how the heat allows your body to stretch deeply and open up - increasing your flexibility, improving your balance, relieving tension and clearing the mind.
All that's asked of you during your first Bikram yoga class is to take in the experience. The first class is tough, but it gets easier! That’s why we offer £30 for 30 days. Let go of any expectations. Just Breath and stay in the room. Come as often as you like within that period so that you can decide whether hot yoga is for you. Feel free to ask questions before or after a class. A teacher is always available. There are some things to consider before your practice:
